+ The most anticipated system is expected to form tomorrow in Bay of Bengal.
+ Global models have come into agreement with the system track and rainfall.
+ Will try to answer the most basic questions which people arise generally in the comments section or through WhatsApp.
1. Is this expected to become cyclone?
+ No, less chances for this system to turn as a cyclone.
+ However this is expected to slightly intensify as it nears the coasts due to favourable conditions.
+ This could turn out to be maximum a Depression / Deep Depression.
2. Where is this upcoming system expected to cross?
+ This system is expected to move in low latitudes and to cross near Nagai - Cuddalore belt.
3. How about the rains from this system for Tamilnadu?
+ When system generally cross near Nagai - Gulf of Mannar, whole Tamilnadu is expected to turn rainy.
+ No exception case for this one too as heavy rains is forecasted for many parts of Tamilnadu.
+ Your place will get in one day or another, less chances to miss.
4. Chennai and KTC?
+ If crossing between Nagai - Cuddalore Belt means, all those northern heavy bands will fall on us which will lead to heavy - very heavy rains in many places of KTC, with few pockets (not hyping) can really see more than extremely heavy rains especially coastal places (Chennai) and Kanchi - Tiruvallur catchments.

5. Which are the key dates for heavy rainfall?
+ The rains will start from this system from 10th night, and the peak of the event is expected on 11th and 12th November.
+ Interior districts and Coimbatore Belt will get heavy rains from 11th.
 + For KTC, it's from 10th night and peak in 11, 12th.
6. After this, dry days ahead??
+ Nope, due to Easterlies we will continue to get rains due to pull effect.
+ After this system recedes away we have another guy forming which we will track later.

+ The motive of the post is to get to know what we can expect from the above system.
+ Also, these rains can be quite heavier than the previous spells we have faced till now this year. Thus, it is advised to exercise some caution.
+ Chennai might record 300mm+ rainfall in no time of 2 days. Stay alert, charge your powerbanks and emergency lamps, get some basic food needs, candles etc (Not Hype).
