
So, as per my yesterday's post, we can expect the outer bands of the system to brush some parts of North TN and South Andhra.
This is what GFS Model is showing now. I've also mentioned about the convergence in interior states and lateral pull effect rains along North Coastal TN till tomorrow noon.
From the latest GFS Model Update : What we can expect.?
* Chennai has 2 chances till now, as per the latest GFS Model Update, to be on the brushing path and pull-effect path. Let's hope it won't goes to Andhra.
* The Cyclone has became more furious by getting the strength traveling along with the CAPE path, where the SST is also high.
* There is no change on the heat wave. It is expected to blow all over North TN for the next 4-5 days (From tomorrow afternoon), after this pull effect rain chances gone completed. So be ready and avoid going outside for a week. Even during night time, there will be hot winds blowing from land towards sea.

In Chennai :
Today 36°C
Tomorrow 38°C
Tuesday to Friday : 43+°C
Post Friday : Gradual decrease in temperature (Reverse of the above).
